Visiting the "Y"

Today we visited the YMCA in Canton. We had the pleasure of having Nicole Lawson as our speaker and our tour guide. She seemed to really know what she was talking about and she acted like she loved her job which is good. She handles memberships as well as the financial aspets at the Y. She explained to us the membership prices and what all we would have access to if we joined. It was a very interesting place and would be enjoyable to join. She also showed us around the whole place and it's pretty big. It has pools, basktball courts, a work out room, a day care, and even a track outside. They offer different classes like yoga, which is something I use to love to do. They're open from during the week from 5:30 in the morning to 9:30 at night. She also told us how we could potentially do our internships there if we went through the whole process and I think it'd be a neat place to maybe do mine. I enjoyed going here because I've never been to one; I've just always heard about it. I hope to go back soon!
