Guest Speaker- Peggy Collins

In Tuesday's class, we had a guest speaker. Her name was Peggy Collins and her job title is the Director of Career Services and she's part of the Reinhardt Organization. Her purpose of coming to talk to us was to explain resumes. Ms. Collins was precise with the way she explained everything and it was clear to understand her language. There are two types of resumes. A chronological manner and a freelance writer summary. She suggested to maybe do both. There's a website on Reinhardt that helps you out greatly when it comes to making a resume. She touched base on that and showed us how to make an account and what all is on it.There's also another website thats called collegecentral.com. You can create a portfolio and view video clips. You can start preparing for interviews since job searching will be arriving for everyone soon. She told us we could come to her anytime we want with questions or help. I learned a lot from her!
