B. During Super Bowl
I watched the first half, halftime, and some of the second half of the Super Bowl. The main thing that caught my eye, like many other people, was the commercials. The advertisements were mostly funny and some were informational. In the time that I watched the game, I saw at least five different Bud-Light commercials. They were all pretty interesting to me, and my favorite that I got to see was probably the very first one, where the house was made up of full Bud-Lights. There was a snickers commercial with Betty White that also caught my attention because it was amusing as well. Out of all the commercials I saw, my most favorite would have to be the Doritos one with the little boy who slaps the guy in the face and says "Keep your hands off my momma keep your hands off my Doritos." It's one of those that everyone is going to be talking about the next day, and when I got on Facebook, people were already stating the words! I noticed how many of the commercials are based for a man's perspective. For example, besides all the Bud-Light commercials, there was a Dove for men commercial. Even though women do watch the Super Bowl, you could say a majority of the fans are men and perhaps that is why so many of the commercials are for men. Drinks, movies, and cars were the superiority of commercials for the Super Bowl. Aside the commercials, the announcers mainly talked about both teams and the specific plays. They also talk about individual mistakes and how they can improve. At the end of the first half, one of the commentators said, " So much for a high scoring game." During the halftime report they discussed the highlights of the game so far, and how the Colts were doing well. They also kept talking about "the ankle" which is referring to Dwight Freeney. He didn't seem to have a problem with it because he was doing great and they were wondering if he'd keep it up in the second half. The half time show included a band and singing. There were fireworks and neon lights that made the show awesome. I got to watch the very end of the game, and GO SAINTS!!:)
