Me and Haley had the opportunity to seek a building and events management intern with the Atlanta Thrashers. The job description was maintaining building facilities, and planning events such as games, practices, and fan days. The job specification was a Bachelor's degree in a related field. i.e. Sports Administration. Also, to have good written and oral communication skills, time management skills, and to be able to work well with others. A plus would be to have some background in building maintenance. The application process would be to email the Director of Operations with an application with a resume including three references. The deadline would be may 2011. Some things the potential interns would be evaluated for is as follows: oral/written skills, references, education, application submitted on time, knowledge of organization, and time management skills.
