(6-10) Grad. Assistanships

For our 6-10 grad assistanships, I chose five that were of best interest to me. The first one was Assistant strength and conditioning coach. This is located at The University of Conneticut and seems like a fun opportunity. I know a friend that does this exact same thing at the University of Ga and loves it. The second one I chose was working with Outdoor Parks and Recreation at The University of Florida. This was probably my favorite one and the location is awesome. I would develop, plan, and teach clinics related to the skills of outdoor recreation and waterfront activities. The third I chose was also at The University of Florida but this time it had to do with Intramaural Sports. Our assistant coach here at Reinhardt does this and it seems very interesting. The fourth was at Illinois dealing with Athletic Training. Although I don't want to go into this field I think I could learn a lot from doing a Grad Assistanship here. The fifth was Grad Assisting Coaching at Barry University. This would be the perfect opportunity for me because I want to coach one day. This assistanship could teach me everything I need to know to be a coach.
